SUMMARIES of some PHILOSOPHICAL ARTICLES after SEMIRA (Shchepanovskaya Elena)

The Cosmic Perspective of Mankind after K.E. Tsiolkovsky

(The report on the international philosophical conference "Cosmism and New Western or Eastern Thinking" in 1999.— St.-Petersburg Government University - University of Vienna)

The article covers scientific and philosophical ideas of the inventor of rocket engine K.E. Tsiolkovsky, which created the perspective of cosmic exploration. In spite of radical and materialistic features of his theory, it is close to spiritual evolutionary ideas of P.Teilhard de Chardin, the follower of V.I.Vernadsky, and it remains actual as practical prospect of cosmism. The image of "radiant humanity", and a man as explorer going to meet transformation, can be considered as modern ideal, still attractive.

In different new Hindu spiritual schools we can find out common features, typical for classic teachings. Their distinction reflects spectrum of actual spiritual needs. Revealing of the Genesis of Universal Archetypes for studying the Structure of Unconsciousness

(Cultural Variety: from Past to Future. Texts of participants of the 2nd Culturological Congress in St.-Petersburg 25-29 November 2008.— St.-Petersburg, Eidos, 2010.— P.563-575)

For true philosophical and culture analysis, disclosure of the universal historical roots of origination of notions seems to be more productive. Exploration of archetypical ideas of the most ancient mythology, as well as revealing deep etymological kinship of senses, became the base of such approach.

Investigating the archetypes origin, we had correlated mythological archetypes with the stages of the evolution of mankind, having spread the notion of the archetype not only to cultural and psychological areas but to social, economical and biological history. Analysis of mythological heritage from evolutionary  point of view proves the existence of common development patterns of mundane mythology. Common logic of thought and succession of forming of the basic human conceptions is manifested.

Archetypical approach can help to solve methodological problem of exactness in humanitarian knowledge. The roots of the philosophical notions manifest universal way of human spiritual development and give the criteria of value of the representations of modern thought.

Genetic Method of Systematization of the Archetypes of World Mythology.

(Observatory of Culture.— Moscow, 2011.— ¹ 4)

In the article the classification of the world mythology archetypes is suggested. A new methodology based on the genetic approach, considering the inner logic of mythological development is elaborated. Such conceptual systematization of mythology contributes to adequate interpretation of cultural symbols and permit to use the symbolical areas in the humanitarian researches more correctly.

Mythological Archetypes as the Core of National (Ethnic) Mentality

(The Days of Petersburg Philosophy 2009. Dialogs of Cultures and the Culture of a Dialog.- St.-Petersburg Government University edition, 2010.— P.382-395)

The article represents a new approach to describe peculiarity of national mentality. The most universal archetypes of the world mythology, common for all civilizations (12 basic mythologemes are suggested), can be recognized as semantic core of cultures (local civilizations). Such concept of archetype  is based on the ideas of symbolic nature of culture and important role of myth in it after E. Kassirer and K. G. Jung. It seems to be productive for intercultural understanding and for representation of multiperspectivity of world development and different part of every nation in it.

The approach is displayed by the example of national mentality of Russia, India and China.

Eastern Features of Russian Philosophy: Personality as Manifestation of Cosmic Spirituality

(The Days of Petersburg Philosophy 2010. Russian Culture: Past, Present and Future.- St.-Petersburg Government University edition, 2011)

The article displays dominant features of national mentality through analysis of typical ideas and approaches of Russian philosophers. One of such archetypical notions is an appeal to personality, not as to individual (and biological), but as spiritual unit, spreading out of its individual limits to collective and universal. It is motivated not by striving for power, but by aspiring for infinity. The national idea should accordingly include such motivation.

Social Interaction: the Role of Biological Conceptions -

Cultural Myth of Struggle for Existence and Symbiosis as the Main Evolutionary Factor

(Values and Meanings.— Moscow, 2011.— ¹ 2.— P.97-105)

The article suggests to use the scientific base of biological concept of symbiosis as the main factor of evolution, in order to return to the classical theories of culture — as well as Darvin theory of struggle for surviving was used to refuse of them, showing insufficiency of humanistic values, which yielded to pressure of Nietzschean "will for power" (according Haidegger). Scientific concept of symbiosis, as the base of manifold of life on the Earth and forming of human culture, manifests the onthological status of interpersonal and intercultural communication. It contributes the assertion of notions of cooperation and mutual aid not only as the idealistic values of "due" but materialistic jist of existence, dealing with ideas of altruism and humanism as the guiding line of mankind evolution.

Epistemological aspects of astrology.

(Mystic-Esoteric Trends in Theory and in Practice. History. Philosophy. Psychology.— St.-Petersburg, Russian Christian Humanitarian Academy edition, 2008.— P.55-65)

In the article a philosophical base, cognitive methods and gnoseological bounds of astrology are examined. The motion of planets in the structure of Solar system is proposed to consider an analog model of actualisation of the most universal archetypes in the structure of psyche and mentality. Astrological methods, yet not accepted in any Russian scientific field, can be dealt as technics of uncovering of the archetypes in social, cultural and personal areas, that give the opportunity to make qualitative analysis of time, correlating cycles with archetypic ideas.
